When you use Paagos, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, organization details, and financial data you enter (transactions, invoices, bills, contacts). We also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, and usage patterns through privacy-friendly analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

• Provide and maintain the Paagos accounting service
• Generate financial reports and insights for your organization
• Send transactional emails (invoice reminders, notifications)
• Improve the product based on aggregate, anonymized usage

We never sell your personal or financial data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in PostgreSQL databases and served through Cloudflare Workers. All connections use TLS encryption. Sessions are managed with secure, httpOnly cookies. We follow industry-standard security practices including parameterized queries, CORS restrictions, and rate limiting.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and edge computing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics
• Payment providers (Stripe, PayMongo, Xendit) — only when you connect them; we store webhook data to sync transactions

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data we hold about you and your organization
• Export your financial data in CSV format at any time
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for optional communications

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal and financial data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
